The Superb embodies the ŠKODA philosophy of producing world class engines, smooth transmissions and high specifications, wrapped in distinctive, elegant and practical bodies.

The Superb is the first car ever to have a boot which can be opened as a hatch or a saloon. This is the car with history dating from the 1930s when its predecessor was luxurious and elegant to appeal to the world’s leaders and royalty.

Twindoor
Twindoor is ŠKODAS revolutionary boot opening mechanism which allows the boot to be opened in two different ways; as a hatch or as a saloon at the simplest touch of a button. This gives you great versatility and more practicality compared to a standard hatchback or saloon car.

Optional Park Assist
Using up to 10 sensors positioned around the Superb the car will reverse into a space automatically, Once started the Superb will locate a suitable space, then once reverse is selected remove hands from the steering wheel and control the speed of the manoeuvre. Follow the instructions on screen and the car will park itself (you are responsible for the manoeuvre at all times).

Safety
All models have 7 airbags; driver and passenger front and side airbags, curtain airbags and a driver’s knee airbag. ESP is also standard across the Superb range. Designed to stabilise the dynamic handling response of the Superb by counteracting any tendency to understeer to oversteer.

Engine
Superb features a range of six engines – three petrols and three diesels. All six employ direct fuel injection for optimum fuel efficiency and low emissions. The engines range from the entry level petrol and diesel engines of 1.4 TSI 122PS and 1.6 TDI CR 105PS to the range topping 3.6 V6 260bhp 4x4 DSG and 2.0 TDI CR 170PS. A number of engines are available with manual or twin-clutch DSG transmissions and some with four-wheel drive for added safety and assurance.

The interior of the Superb is a fantastic place to be. Each model has a high level of build quality, matched with supreme levels of standard specification and comfort make driving the Superb a real pleasure.

S models offer the driver manual air-conditioning, 7-airbags, comfortable cloth seats and chrome detailing on the dashboard. SE increases the high levels of comfort with alcantara upholstery, muli-function steering wheel, touchscreen 'Bolero' stereo with integrated 6CD autochanger and dual-zone air-conditioning. Elegance is the flagship model offering full leather upholstery, 'Columbus' touchscreen satellite navigation, Bluetooth with a multi-function steering wheel and electrically adjustable driver and passenger seats.

Lighting
Catvision diffused interior lighting (standard on SE and Elegance) highlights the dashboard contours and prevent dis-orientation of the driver when looking for buttons.

Steering
There are a range of steering wheels available across the Superb range either as standard or as an option - from 4-spoke steering wheels, to 3 and 4-spoke leather steering wheels with controls for radio and/or telephone and even paddles for controlling the DSG transmission.

Space
Space is not a problem in the Superb. The legroom available in the front is enormous, coupled with limousine levels of legroom in the rear, allow for two six-footers to sit comfortably behind each other with room to spare.

Air Conditioning
Superb S models are available with standard manual air conditioning. Dual-zone air-conditioning (allows driver and passenger to have two temperatures differing by ±6 degrees) is available as an option on S models and standard on SE and Elegance.

Radio and Satellite Navigation
There are two media systems available for the Superb range – both using the latest touchscreen technology with intuitive menu systems. The ‘Bolero’ stereo with integrated 6CD autochanger (standard on SE, optional on S) also has an integrated SD card slot so that MP3’s can be played through the stereo, whilst the ‘Columbus’ satellite navigation system (option on SE, standard on Elegance) has a 30GB hard drive used to store maps of western Europe and MP3 music and an SD card slot.

Alloy Wheels
Alloys are lighter than ordinary wheels, so your Superb will go faster, save on fuel and, of course, look sportier. Aviors are 6 x 15" alloys and take tyre size 195/55 R15.

Bicycle Rack
A lockable carrier to keep your bicycle safe and sound. Depending on your bikes' width, you can fit up to four carriers. Adjustable straps let your secure tyres of any width. Needs slotted type roof bars (and adapter kit) or cross bars.

Detachable Towbar
This towbar can take up to a 50kg vertical load on the ball joint. The maximum towing load you're allowed varies by the type of trailer - 1200kg for a trailer with brakes, 450kg for one without (electric kit is required, and fitting).

Door Sill Covers - Fabia Logo
These will help protect your Superb's paintwork from damage and scratches caused by people getting in and out of the car.

Fabric Floor Mats
These will help keep your Superb nice and clean. There's no irritating sliding around as you secure them with floor poppers. When they need cleaning, you just pop them out. They come in a set of four.

Rear Mud Flaps
These protect the rear part of your Superb's body and paintwork against mud, slush, snow and gravel.

Roof Bars
These lock onto the roof via a 'T' groove. The attachments simply slide into the 'T' groove and the bars are secure. The main part of the bar is made of very smart-looking aluminium.
