Octavia features a wide range of engines – six petrols and three diesels. The engines range from the entry level petrol and diesel engines of 1.4 80PS and 1.6 TDI CR 105PS to the range topping vRS 2.0 T FSI 200PS and 2.0 TDI CR 170PS engines. The majority of engines are available with manual or twin-clutch DSG transmissions, with a new range fo TSI and Common Rail diesel engines offering exceptional fuel economy and low emissions.

Wheels
The Octavia range is available with a large selection of steel or alloy wheels for you to choose. Ranging from 15" up to 17" there are plenty of choices to stylise your car.

Xenon Headlights
Xenon headlights with AFS II (standard on L&K, optional on vRS and Elegance) are 2.5 times brighter than standard halogen headlights. The AFS II (Adaptive Front-light System) includes cornering headlights, the headlights move to illuminate the corner more than normal headlights and are dependent on speed and angle of the steering wheel. These provide the driver with increased visibility therefore enhancing safety.

Front Grille
Newly designed front grille, gives the new Octavia an updated appearance, bringing it into line with the rest of the Škoda range.

Body coloured bumpers
Body coloured bumpers and side mouldings add to the contemporary, dynamic design of new Octavia.

The new features and layout of the interior emphasise even more the feeling of comfort and safety. The Octavia now offers a completely new generation of three and four-spoke steering wheels, radio and navigation systems, available throughout the model range.

The instrument panel is a great example of progressive, elegant design, well arranged with soft, touch-friendly surfaces. White LED illumination provides an elegant contrast against the black instrument panel while the traditional green under-lighting of the rest of the electronic components creates a sound combination which does not act as a disturbance when driving.

Height and reach adjustable steering wheel and drivers seat
Height and reach adjustable steering wheels and height adjustable drivers seat are standard across the range. This enables a person of any size to get comfortable behind the wheel thus improving safety.

Media systems
There are three media systems available for the Octavia range – two of which use the latest touchscreen technology with intuitive menu systems. The ‘Bolero’ stereo with integrated 6CD autochanger (standard on SE and above) also has an integrated SD card slot so that MP3’s can be played through the stereo, whilst the ‘Columbus’ satellite navigation system (option on SE and above) has a 30GB hard drive used to store maps of western Europe and MP3 music and an SD card slot.

Manual air conditioning
Octavia S and SE models are available with standard manual air conditioning. Dual-zone air-conditioning allows driver and passenger to have two temperatures differing by ±6 degrees, is available as an option on SE models and standard on Elegance models and above.

Multi function display/On board computer
Octavia is available with two computers. The basic trip computer is standard on all models (exc S and L&K) and displays info such as time, exterior temperature, average fuel consumption and distance and time driven. The maxi-dot trip computer (optional on SE upwards, standard on L&K) has the same information as the trip computer, but allows greater control over some of Octavias other features.

Our approved child seats undergo the most rigorous testing to ensure they meet the strictest safety requirements and hence providing maximum safety and security for all passengers.

Tailored Floor Mats
This set of mats are a convenient way of keeping the inside of your car clean. The mats can be secured to the floor by poppers and can easily be removed when they need cleaning. They are available in two materials: polypropylene textile and rubber.

Tow Bar
This detachable tow bar can take up to a 75kg static vertical load on the ball pin. The maximum towing load will vary from vehicle to vehicle so will range from 900kg - 1,600kg.

Door Sill Covers
These covers will help to protect the paintwork from damage and scratches caused by people getting in and out of the car.

Heavy Duty Boot Mat
A durable, rigid plastic boot dish that helps prevent loose items from sliding around and damaging the luggage area. Additionally it is good for keeping the boot area clean.

Mud Flaps
Fixed to the wheel housing, these help protect the car's body and paintwork against mud, snow and gravel.
